Celebrating Faranani Infrastructure Project Breaking Ground Ceremony and Cohort 3 Graduation!
FIP Breaking Ground Ceremony @ Eqinisweni
The Faranani Infrastructure Project (FIP) Breaking Ground Ceremony, hosted at Eqinisweni Secondary School, resonated as a remarkable achievement. The event united key stakeholders and FIP Youth Participants to celebrate the initiation of a significant project. As shovels broke ground, it symbolized not only the start of physical construction but also the beginning of progress and development in the area. Filled with enthusiasm and determination, attendees witnessed the first steps toward a brighter future for Eqinisweni Secondary School and its learners. Esteemed speakers included Mr Bongane Sibisi - advisor of the MEC Sibisi, who delivered a very insightful address not only in his capacity as advisor but also as an alumnus of Eqinisweni Secondary School.
“I am a product of this school as well as the community of Ivory Park. I’m very excited about this opportunity, and I know that it will transfer skills to the young people, and they will be able to participate in the mainstream economy” - Bongane Sibisi.
The school hall will be constructed within six months, utilizing recycled materials—a commendable step toward sustainability and community development.
Empowering Futures: Eldorado Park FIP Graduates Shine Bright
Last week marked a significant milestone as we celebrated the FIP Cohort 3 Graduation Ceremony at Eldorado Park, Gauteng. Despite the unexpected interruption of load shedding, our spirits remained high as we witnessed our graduates shine brightly.
The event was a testament to the resilience and determination of our students, who looked dazzling in their graduation attire. Despite the challenges they may have faced along the way, they remained focused and committed to achieving their goals.
“When this project commenced in this community, I was one of the few people seen as enemy number one, but today, I stand here as the biggest supporter of the project. I am so proud of you all for seeing this through!” - Dwayne Ponsonby
We are incredibly proud of each and every graduate, and we have no doubt that they will accomplish great things in their future endeavours. Their hard work and dedication serve as an inspiration to us all.
A special thank you to the Master of Ceremonies, Ms Tlotlisang Amanda Mokoena and Mr Oupa Tshabalala, who did a remarkable job entertaining everyone. Their words of encouragement and wisdom resonated with everyone present, reminding us of the importance of perseverance in the face of adversity.
As we reflect on the success of the FIP Graduation Ceremony, let us continue to support and uplift each other as we work towards our shared goals. Together, we can overcome any obstacle and achieve greatness.
Congratulations once again to all the graduates. Your achievements are a testament to your hard work and determination, and we couldn’t be prouder of you.
